Energy Tech Summit 2026: Neos Energy takes the stage in Bilbao
Selected as a Top 10 Finalist in the AI for Energy track at Energy Tech Challengers 2026, Neos Energy presented its approach to building energy optimisation at Energy Tech Summit in Bilbao.
Our co-founder Sonya Hofer took to the stage at Energy Tech Summit in Bilbao on 15 April 2026, representing Neos Energy (then CenEMS) as a Top 10 Finalist in the AI for Energy track at Energy Tech Challengers.
Selected from more than 400 applicants, we were incredibly proud to share our vision with an international audience of investors, energy companies and policymakers.
The pitch was also an opportunity to share the belief that drives us: if sustainability isn’t profitable, it won’t scale.
Across Europe, property owners and operators are navigating tight regulatory deadlines, volatile energy prices and geopolitical uncertainty. While these pressures create challenges, we—and our clients—also see opportunity: a chance to fundamentally reshape how the built environment delivers resilience, efficiency and long-term value.
On stage, we presented how our AI Autopilot connects to existing building equipment to optimise energy use in real time, helping turn better operational performance into lower costs and reduced emissions.
